I have had my device since November 2007 (when I switched to Mac). Apple had just introduced time machine and so I wanted to have a drive. I soon found out that this is not enough storage for time machine so I upgraded and this became a backup drive.I have loved the fact that the usb cord is connected to the device. I carry it in my backpack (in a side compartment) and it goes with me everywhere. It has almost been a year so I am considering other options. Hard drives will always fail at some point.
