Addendum to my original review: I realize and accept the fact that all harddrives fail and basically this one died within a year. The problem is that if you need secure data protection and due to the nature of harddrive potential failures, you'll end up needing to purchase two of these units, which then becomes an expensive situation. Furthermore, once the unit fails, you can't even get inside the unit because the unit will no longer recognize your fingerprint. All in all, whether or not these relatively expensive units are really worth it will depend on your use, but in the end, it definitely was not worth it for me... simply because the ...
